These photographs show the stages of DIEP Flap Breast Reconstruction in a woman, after she had a failed left implant reconstruction, keloid scar of a left nipple reconstruction, and keloid scar of a right breast lift, performed by another surgeon.

Below is the woman after left DIEP Flap breast reconstruction, in which the implant was removed, the pectoralis muscle was placed back down on the chest, the scar capsule around the implant was removed and cut, and healthy skin and fat from the abdomen was transferred to the left chest.

Below is the woman after the second stage of breast reconstruction, in which a left nipple was reconstructed, a portion of keloid scar was removed on the right breast, and revision of the abdomen donor site was done.
