Patient 12 Lumpectomy Changed to Mastectomy

These photographs are of a woman with left breast cancer, treated with left breast lumpectomy and chemotherapy. She did not have radiation therapy to the left chest. She was found to be BRCA (+) and had double mastectomies. Her goal was for the most natural feeling and looking breasts, a larger breast size, and flatter abdomen. She chose double DIEP flap breast reconstruction.

Below is a photograph 6 months after double nipple sparing mastectomies and double DIEP flap breast reconstruction. The abdominal scar will fade more at the 1 year point.
